  When I lisen to the japanese version the music does sound lovely. However, the english lyrics are distracting because I don't entirely agree with them.

  The song could be interpreted many ways but to me it seems rather "this or that" life is different for each person its a path of discovery and yes you make mistakes but you look forward.

  this song seems to say a wild free life is a disaster and you should have married and had a family. I don't necessarily agree. LIfe is a mixed bag and I did lots of crazy stuff in my youth and I don't regret it yes I'm married now but no children which I'm glad for I didn't want them and still don't.

  Happiness is a process of learning and growing however you get there. the watchtower org stifles people and trys to take away your life for those born in its one way for those of us who chose for a while its another way.

  .

  I'm not really trying to bad mouth this song it just affected me in an unpleasant way.

  I prefer sunrises to sunsets. I like to watch the world wake up and it seems sunrises are more solitary and peaceful whereas sunsets can become a group experience and even get rowdy and they don't even seem as beautiful as sunrises.

  Seen this movie?

  i was just wondering if anyone here has ever seen the movie "the invention of lying".

  if you haven't seen it it is basically about a guy who lives in a world where no one knows what a lie is.

  when this mans mom is on her deathbed he tries to comfort her and makes up a story ( something no one else has the ability to do ) about a place like heaven where everyone will get to live in a mansion of their choosing.

  Back in the late 70's in a little bar in austin called Spellmans Townes Van Zandt came in and sang a song he wrote called Poncho and Lefty when I heard him sing it I told him it was a great song. there was probably only 8 people there at the time he came back again several times I always asked him to sing it he's dead now but many including Willie Nelson have sung it.

  those lyrics were from what you provided below the video.

  I was just thinking that the idea of believing everything was too vague and therefore was meaningless. sometimes it seems translating across languages is difficult to express properly.

  The song feels plaintive in a beautiful way.

  maybe she feels she must be confident in herself her abilities, choices or maybe the future and than life will open up and take her where she needs to go?
